Gase has also interviewed with the Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets.
Gase was fired by the Miami Dolphins at the end of 2018.

Why would you hire someone who's had less success as a HC - in the same year as the guy you fired - to take over your team? I don't get it.
Could he be a better fit for the roster than McCarthy? Sure. But interview McDaniels in the meantime. Then again, for a team that's been bleeding talent a few years now, this sounds like just a case of bad management.
