Exec: Adam Gase Is What Happens When You Omit Homework On Candidate

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Nov 6, 2019 4:59 pm

Adam Gase has had a disappointing start to his tenure as head coach of the New York Jets, evidenced by both the team\'s record and the way Sam Darnold has regressed.

Gase was largely hired to help develop Darnold with his supporters citing his history working with Peyton Manning.

\"This is what happens when you don\'t do your homework on a coaching candidate,\" said one NFC team executive on Gase.

Many teams already believed Gase wasn\'t a good coach.

I love all the morons blindly blaming Gase because the offense can't overcome having the worst oline in the league. It doesn't matter who is coach if the QB can't get to his second read without running for his life every time. The biggest problem with the team is oline and crucial injuries.
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!! :curse:

Teams with worse O-Lines have produced. Gase is really bad.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Which ones?? As of Nov 5th, football outsiders has the Jets oline ranked 30th in run blocking and 32 in pass protection. They are atrocious and nobody else is that bad. The only other team that's bottom 5 in both categories is Miami and we all see how they are doing this year. Darnold has no time in the pocket. Play design and play calling are extremely limited when you have an oline that collapses in 2 seconds on average.

Can you break down the specifics of what makes Gase system so bad? Nobody seems to know they just become over reactionary clowns and look at the record and determine that he's somehow the problem when there has been injuries out the wazoo and oline is practically all 2nd and 3rd strings now. Games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. Douglas knows it and he will focus on fixing that as priority. He's not Macc.
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!! :curse:
