Colin Kaepernick To Write And Publish Memoir

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Feb 13, 2020 6:06 pm

Colin Kaepernick is writing a memoir that will be released through his own publishing company.

Kaepernick has been out of a job in the NFL the last three years. He filed a grievance against the NFL, contending teams colluded to keep him out. The sides reached an undisclosed settlement.

Kaepernick will write about that experience and what prompted his activism.

“My protest was the culmination of years of thought and experiences, of learning and unlearning,” Kaepernick said in a statement. “I want to tell the story of my evolution, and the events that led me to protest systemic oppression, in hopes that it will inspire others to rise in action.”

Oh good, my TP supply was getting low in my bathroom.

As a Steeler fan I still can't get why they don't sign him. It is such a slap to fans that the Steelers say they aren't going to sign a veteran backup this off-season. If the Steelers had had Teddy Bridgewater, or Kaepernick, in reserve last season when Big Ben went down, they would have made the playoffs.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
