Tony Romo Re-Signs With CBS On $17M Per Year Deal

Tony Romo has agreed to the largest sports analyst contract in television history to remain with CBS.

Romo will earn $17 million per season and will be for more than five seasons, putting the total value above $100 million.

ESPN would have become eligible to negotiate with Romo beginning in March. CBS anticipated ESPN bidding approximately $20 million per season.

Romo\'s initial deal with CBS was for approximately $10 million over three years.

Damn, $17m? Back when he played that was starting QB money. Crazy. I think he's a good announcer, but wow that's a lot of money to give an announcer.
