Doug Pederson is not considering making a quarterback change as Carson Wentz continues to struggle and the Philadelphia Eagles are now 0-2-1.

Some fans have called for the Eagles to start second round pick Jalen Hurts in place of Wentz.

\"No. You don\'t go there. That\'s a knee-jerk reaction,\" Pederson told 94.1 WIP on Monday when asked what it would take to look at options at QB outside Wentz. \"Carson\'s our quarterback. We\'re going to get it fixed. He is going to get it fixed.\"

Pederson suggested benching Wentz would be giving in to the \"aura\" in the city right now as opposed to acting on the team\'s beliefs.

Except... Wentz has sucked ever since he got hurt in 2017. Never been the same after that. Was going to win MVP, gets hurt team wins SB anyway, now shell of himself.

Will CHI do Foles and a 1st for Wentz?

No, won't be adding. There are other QB desperate suckers out there. Wait until Foles has a few of his bad games and see how you feel then.

No, won't be adding. There are other QB desperate suckers out there. Wait until Foles has a few of his bad games and see how you feel then.

I don’t think very highly of Foles, he’s at best an average QB who had a good playoff run when they won the super bowl (similar to Joe Flacco).

But he’s still better than Wentz imo who I think is one of the most overrated and overpaid QBs in the league. His injury history makes Sam Bradford blush while his talent isn’t anything all that special compared to the young rising stars at the QB position like Murray, Watson, Jackson, Mahomes, Josh Allen etc. He’s better than Trubisky but that’s not all that much of an accomplishment and is getting paid for much more than that.
