Aaron Rodgers wants a new contract, according to a source.

The desire for a new deal may have been why Rodgers appeared to send a message publicly following the Green Bay Packers\' loss in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Expected to win the 2020 NFL MVP award, Rodgers will make $22.35 million in 2021, $25.5 million in 2022, and $25.5 million in 2023.

Rodgers has a cap number in excess of $37 million for 2021, but a new contract easily could reduce it.

Winning must not be important to management either since they use a high 1st round pick on his replacement instead of player that could help them win this year. If I was him I would demand a new contract or trade.

Rodgers is easily worth it. He probably has another 5 years of elite/very good play left in him.

Give him the semi Mahomes deal. And then draft him some damn receivers. He wanted the Packers to draft Justin Jefferson and they instead got him Jordan Love lol.

This is Aaron demanding a trade without saying it, he knows he's not going to get a new contract with his replacement in waiting and the Packers were already thinking about letting him go last year. Either trade him to the Rams and take 2-3 years of Goff while Love gets ready, or just cut him and let him go to the Patriots.
