The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will use the franchise tag on Chris Godwin.
The tag will close $16.5 million and they also won\'t be able to use it on Shaq Barrett, who earned $15.8 million last season under the tag.
Both Barrett and Lavonte David will come free agents.
The Bucs will need to make a series of cap-saving moves to retain these players, as they had only a projected $15 million in salary-cap space before tagging Godwin.
