The Indianapolis Colts and Darius Leonard are working towards a lucrative contract extension.
The linebacker is expected to make more than $19 million per season when the deal is reached, according to sources.
On Wednesday, Fred Warner received a five-year, $95 million extension with the San Francisco 49ers. Leonard is considered next in line for a major extension at the position.
