Falcons To Sign Josh Rosen

The Atlanta Falcons are signing Josh Rosen to replace AJ McCarron, who tore his right ACL in the second quarter of Saturday\'s preseason game.

Rosen will compete with Feleipe Franks as the backup to Matt Ryan.

\"It doesn\'t mean if we add someone this week, doesn\'t mean that we may not add another person next week,\" Arthur Smith said. \"We\'ll continue to monitor that.\"

I hope Rosen is able to get it together. Coming out of college that year, I thought he had the biggest chance of success due to his accuracy and college offense. It hasn't been easy going from one bad team to the next. His confidence must be destroyed at this point, but he has a chance to prove himself in ATL.
