Russell Wilson: Finger Not To Blame For Rare Shutout

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Nov 15, 2021 2:01 pm

Russell Wilson took the blame for the Seattle Seahawks\' 17-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

He didn\'t, however, put the blame on his surgically-repaired ringer.

\"My finger felt fine,\" Wilson said. \"The problem with tonight was I had two bad plays. That\'s what it really was.\"

Wilson had surgery on his finger on October 8 and was sidelined for roughly a month. He went 20-of-40 for 161 yards, two interceptions and a 12.9 Total QBR.

\"He doesn\'t feel like it was at all,\" Pete Carroll said when asked how much Wilson\'s finger may have impacted his play. \"There was a couple high throws that got out. Pretty cold night and all that. Maybe that had something to do with it as you\'re looking at it. I don\'t think so. I\'m not thinking that and Russ isn\'t either.\"
