Dolphins Fire Brian Flores

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jan 10, 2022 2:41 pm

The Miami Dolphins have fired head coach Brian Flores, per sources.

Miami started the season 1-7, but finished 8-1 to narrowly miss the postseason.

This one is a head scratcher. How are you going fire a guy that took the team 8-1 to close the season?

This is not head scratcher. Dude got the team competitive and established a winning culture. Now comes the new coach (Jim harbaugh) into a ready made situation to get all of the glory. The brother got done dirty by Miami.

Agree he should've gotten another year, hopefully he gets another chance. That would suck if Harbaugh takes over.
Ska needs to make a comeback.

If that's actually what is happening then they absolutely did him dirty. I could see holding him accountable for benching Fitzpatrick last year when they were in playoff contention, but damn it was clear they were on the rise.

IMO, Flores will have no problem getting another HC gig.
