Browns Likely To Part With Baker Mayfield, Want An \'Adult\' At QB

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Mar 16, 2022 9:17 pm

Baker Mayfield almost certainly will not return to the Cleveland Browns next season as the team has had interest in trading for Deshaun Watson.

Mayfield published an open letter to fans of the Browns on Tuesday evening in response to the team\'s pursuit of Watson.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN said earlier on Wednesday that the Browns and Mayfield are breaking up because the Browns want an “adult” at the quarterback position.

An "adult" that sexually assaults massage therapists. Never change, Browns.

I'm not a Baker guy by any means and I want no part of him in Indy. With that said, the Browns ought to show a bit more class for the best QB I've seen the Browns have in my entire adult life.

That is some funny ****. To be frank, you can't blame the Browns for meeting with / pursuing a top 5 QB, when their roster is built to compete now and Baker isn't getting the job done. I don't fully blame Baker, because he was playing hurt last year, but he's been mediocre most of his time in Cleveland when they have a super bowl contending roster.

And yeah, he's acting like a complete baby with this nonsense. He clearly has no clue how the business works. Did you see Matt Ryan doing all that crap when the Falcons wanted to speak with Watson? Every player knows, that is part of the business. Any good GM will look to improve the roster in anyway they can.
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!! :curse:
