Fox has announced that Kevin Burkhardt will replace Joe Buck as their No. 1 NFL play-by-play announcer.
Burkhardt will call two of the next three Super Bowls.
Fox wanted to keep Buck and offered him $12 million per year, but felt Burkhardt was capable of replacing him.
Fox has yet to name a replacement for Troy Aikman, though Greg Olsen is considered the leading candidate.
