The Washington Commanders will hire Eric Bieniemy as offensive coordinator.

Bieniemy has been offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, but has had a more limited role due to the presence of Andy Reid.

Bieniemy has been up for multiple head coaching jobs.

He had to go to a bad team to fix the offense and then he will look like a high caliber HC candidate. If he goes to another great team then there wouldn’t be much of a difference compared to staying with KC and being “overlooked”.
