Cam Jurgens and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a four-year, $68 million contract extension with $39.4 million guaranteed. The deal keeps Jurgens at center for the Eagles through 2029 and he becomes the NFL\'s second-highest paid center by total value behind Creed Humphrey of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jurgens was picked by the Eagles with the 51st overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft with Jason Kelce nearing retirement. Kelce had input on the selection of Jurgens. Junes began his career at right guard and to over at center to start the 2024 season when Kelce retired.
The Eagles now have four of their starting five linemen on long-term extensions. Jordan Mailata and Landon Dickerson signed three-year extensions last year. Lane Johnson tacked on another year earlier this offseason.
