Archie: Arch Manning Won\'t Declare For Draft, Will Stay At UT In 2026

The widespread belief surrounding Arch Manning has been that he will not declare for the 2026 NFL draft regardless of the type of season he has starting for Texas in 2025 for the first time in his collegiate career. Manning\'s grandfather, Arch Manning, backed up that position though he says he hasn\'t directly spoken to him about it.
“Arch isn’t going to do that,\" said Archie. \"He’ll be at Texas.”
Manning is one of the lead candidates to win the Heisman despite not being a starter previously in his career.
“People are saying he’s a Heisman candidate,” said Archie. “You’re not a Heisman Trophy candidate when you haven’t played but three games. It’s crazy.”
