Oregon quarterback Dante Moore sits atop Mel Kiper Jr.\'s updated Big Board for the 2026 NFL Draft, according to ESPN\'s draft analyst. Moore leads a class featuring three quarterbacks and two Ohio State defenders in the top 10 rankings released this week.
Moore has completed 70.5% of his passes for 1,884 yards with 19 touchdowns and five interceptions over nine games. The third-year sophomore started five games at UCLA in 2023 before sitting behind Dillon Gabriel in 2024.
Indiana\'s Fernando Mendoza ranks second on Kiper\'s board after transferring from Cal. Mendoza has thrown 26 touchdown passes against five interceptions while cutting his sacks from 41 in 2024 to just 10 this season.
\"Moore is a third-year sophomore with some impressive traits,\" Kiper wrote. \"His accuracy has been solid all season, and he shows good touch on his deep ball.\"
Alabama\'s Ty Simpson rounds out the top five quarterbacks at No. 5 overall. Simpson has thrown 21 touchdown passes with just one interception in his first season as a starter.
Running back Jeremiyah Love of Notre Dame ranks third on the Big Board. The 20-year-old has rushed for 988 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding 24 catches for 254 yards and three receiving scores.
\"Love reminds me a lot of Reggie Bush,\" Kiper wrote. \"Once he gets into space, he can take it to the house with his breakaway speed.\"
Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese claims the No. 4 spot with 6.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss. Safety Caleb Downs ranks ninth after transferring from Alabama, where he played under Nick Saban as a freshman.
Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods, Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, and Ohio State receiver Carnell Tate complete the top 10. The 2026 NFL Draft begins April 23 in Pittsburgh.
