Lightning Trade Bergeron To Hurricanes For Hall

The Lightning have acquired forward Adam Hall and a seventh-round pick in 2013 from the Hurricanes in exchange for defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron, vice president and GM Steve Yzerman announced today.


Hall, 32, has played in 26 games this season with the Hurricanes and Lightning, collecting four assists and 23 penalty minutes. The forward was claimed off waivers by Carolina on March 16, 2013 from Tampa Bay.


The Kalamazoo, Michigan native has skated in 591 career NHL games with the Lightning, Hurricanes, Penguins, Wild, Rangers and Predators, recording 65 goals and 147 points to go along with 259 penalty minutes. Hall has appeared in 233 games as a member of the Lightning over four seasons, collecting 14 goals and 39 points.


Hall was originally drafted by Nashville in the second round, 52nd overall, of the 1999 NHL Draft.
