Dave Nonis, Senior Vice-President and GM of the Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday that Drew MacIntyre has signed an NHL contract for the balance of the 2012-13 season.
MacIntyre, 29, has played in 16 games for the Marlies of the AHL this season posting a record of 10-3-3. The goaltender has compiled a 1.85 goals against average and a 0.931 save percentage. MacIntyre has previous NHL experience with the Canucks and Sabres.
MacIntyre was named CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending March 3, 2013.
