Flyers Sign Lecavalier To Multiyear Deal

The Flyers have signed free-agent center Vincent Lecavalier to a multiyear contract on Tuesday.

The Flyers did not disclose terms of the contract, but sources confirmed to ESPN.com that the deal is worth $22.5M over five years. The deal will average $4.5M per season and contains a no-movement clause.

With his $32.667 million buyout (two-thirds of the $45 million Tampa Bay still owed him) and the $22.5 million he'll get from the Flyers, Lecavalier will earn $55.167 million.
