After missing more than a month recovering from a broken jaw, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby will return to action Friday night in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Islanders.
Crosby said he was medically cleared to play Thursday afternoon, according to an ESPN.com report.
