The Ducks announced Friday that the club has acquired right wing Jakob Silfverberg, left wing Stefan Noesen and a first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft from the Senators in exchange for left wing Bobby Ryan.
Silfverberg, 22, appeared in 48 games as a rookie with Ottawa last season, scoring 19 points with.
In 2011-12, Silfverberg had a historic season with Brynas of the Swedish Elite League, winning MVP for both the regular season and playoffs.
Noesen, 20, has earned 220 points over four junior hockey seasons with the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL.
Selected by the Senators in the first round (21st overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Noesen had a career year in 2011-12, notching 82 points in 63 contests.
Ryan, 26, appeared in 46 games last season with the Ducks, scoring 30 points. He was drafted by Anaheim in the first round (second overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
