Coyotes Sign Jeff Halpern To One-Year, Two-Way Deal

Coyotes GM Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Jeff Halpern to a one-year, two-way contract. Last season, Halpern recorded 1-2-3 and 10 penalty minutes in 46 games with the Rangers and Canadiens. In parts of 13 NHL seasons with the Capitals, Stars, Lightning, Kings, Canadiens and Rangers, the 37-year-old forward has played in 907 regular season games, recording 147-214-361 and 617 PIM. Halpern was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Washington on March 29, 1999. |
