Bettman Upholds Shawn Thornton's Suspension

NHL commissioner Gary Bettman announced Tuesday he has upheld the 15-game suspension for Bruins forward Shawn Thornton, according to an ESPN.com report.
Thornton now can appeal to an independent arbitrator.
