Sabres Waive Linus Omark

The Sabres placed recently acquired left wing Linus Omark on waivers as part of a series of moves made before the start of the Olympic break.
Omark had two assists in 13 games with the Sabres.
Should he clear waivers, Omark would have an opportunity to develop with the Sabres' AHL affiliate in Rochester.
The Sabres also demoted two rookies, center Phil Varone and defenseman Chad Ruhwedel, to Rochester.
