Canadiens To Play Without A Captain

After months of speculation regarding who would wear the revered "C" this season for the Canadiens, the team decided to go a different route altogether and name four alternate captains.
On Monday, the team announced that forwards Max Pacioretty, Tomas Plekanec, P.K. Subban, and Andrei Markov, will serve as team alternates -- only the second time in team history that the club has been without a captain.
