Oilers Fire Coach Dallas Eakins

The Oilers fired coach Dallas Eakins amid a skid that has seen them collect one win in their past 16 games, the team announced Monday.
Eakins was in his second season with the Oilers, 7-19-5 overall this year.
GM Craig MacTavish will act as interim coach.
