Coyotes GM Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired defenseman Klas Dahlbeck and a first round draft choice in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft from the Blackhawks in exchange for center Antoine Vermette. "On behalf of the entire Coyotes organization I would like to thank Antoine for everything he did for our Club on and off the ice the past four seasons," Maloney said. "Antoine is the consummate professional and a class act and we wish him the best of luck in the future." Dahlbeck has recorded 1-0-1 and two penalty minutes in four games with Chicago this season. "Klas Dahlback is a big, strong, two-way defenseman who skates well and competes hard," Maloney said. "We are excited to welcome him to our organization." Vermette registered 13-22-35 in 63 games with the Coyotes this season. |
