David Nonis, Senior Vice President and GM of the Maple Leafs, announced Monday that the club has acquired forward Joakim Lindstrom and a conditional sixth round draft pick (2016) from the Blues in exchange for Olli Jokinen.
Lindstrom, 31, has skated in 34 regular season games with the Blues this season, collecting six points (three goals, three assists) and eight penalty minutes. The Skelleftea, Sweden native has registered 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 131 career NHL regular season games with Columbus, Arizona, Colorado and St. Louis.
