Mark Giordano Out With Torn Biceps

Flames star defenseman and captain Mark Giordano is out for the season with a torn biceps, GM Brad Treliving told reporters during a news conference Monday.
Giordano, 31, was enjoying a breakout season, with 11 goals and 37 assists in 61 games for the Flames. He will have surgery Wednesday and is expected to be out four to five months.
