Craig Custance of ESPN.com reports that Ray Bartoszek's group, RLB Holdings Sports and Entertainment, is looking at the city of Tukwila near Seattle to build an arena for an NHL expansion team.

Good for Seattle. After the screwing Stern gave to them (twice!), they should forget the NBA and focus on the NHL.

I don't see how a league that is basically being funded by 1/3 (if even that) of the franchises that seems to have labor issues any time a new CBA is due can further water down the product by adding another 2 teams when it's all said and done. This is not the NFL. If anything, they should be contracting about 4 teams (it'll never happen). I'm all for Seattle getting a franchise. I think it would be a rabid fanbase. But relocate a floundering franchise instead. But Bettman is so hellbent on having teams in Phoenix, Nashville, Miami, etc.
