Dave Tippett has been hired as the 16th head coach of the Edmonton Oilers -- and the third of superstar Connor McDavid\'s five-year career.
Tippett, 57, previously coached the Dallas Stars (2002-09) and the Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes (2009-17), with a career record of 553-413-28-120.
