Sabres Acquire Josh Norris From Senators For Dylan Cozens, 2026 2nd

The Buffalo Sabres have acquired Josh Norris and Jacob Bernard-Docker from the Ottawa Senators for Dylan Cozens, Dennis Gilbert and a 2026 second rounder.
Both Cozens and Norris are former first round picks signed to long-term contracts. Cozens is just two seasons removed from a 31-goal campaign that earned him a seven-year, $49.7 million contract.
Norris is in the third season of an eight-year deal with a $7.95 million cap hit. The concern with Norris has been his health.
