It's really way too early to tell if he can be a good one or not. He has virtually no experience. I think he should have started at a smaller role before accepting head coach.

Isn't that the truth. If he wasn't out playing pickup baseball games in yankee stadium, and having the team go to day spas. Instead using the time to do something called practice, they wouldn't be 3-8. Everyone in the Atlantic East is terrible this year though, so despite the rough start, they could still put something together, and be the best of the worst.

The guy missed his first game of the season because he was suspended for DUI. It's pathetic.

Brooklyn won 49 games last year (59.8%), they only improved their roster, but they can't seem to win games.

It is a little early, and they have had horrible injuries so far, but they have a stacked team and should be able to manage without some players each night.

I'm not impressed at all with Kidd so far.

"eventually" is a strong word.....and isn't specific...

I bet he could teach High School Basketball, but not a half a billion dollar franchise, especially not in your first couple years.

Coaches always start out as assistants, even Jerry Sloan was under Frank Layden, and he is one to top 5 coaches of all time in NBA!

he should be an assistant or nba analyst like mark jackson did which allowed him to see different teams on a nightly basis before becoming a head coach. kidd hasn't paid his dues yet. i think he will be a good one someday though.

Everyone here is panicking but let's be real - Kidd is NOT the reason Kevin Garnett is playing like ass. Kidd is NOT the reason Deron Williams and Andrei Kirilenko can't stay healthy.

Might as well blame Mike Woodson for J.R. Smith and Tyson Chandler. Oh wait that's what the media is pushing on you anyway.

This sums it up nicely.
