It's not hard to tank guys. I'm not sure how you grade tanking an A+ when the Rockets GM built a contender without even being a bad team first and he never gets a GM of the year.

Jazz, Lakers, Knicks and Spurs have done the same thing for years.

Then they lost a bunch of games from crappy effort, from just not trying to win really, but they were still trying on plenty of nights as well and so were not really committed to tanking yet. They wanted to tank but they were waffling because their roster was good enough that it would look really bad if they finished as one of the worst teams. They'd be scared the league would punish them and take away their pick or worse. So now they are committed to tanking.
