Clippers are a jump shooting team outside of Blake and DeAndre. Jared Dudley, Matt Barnes, Byron Mullens, J.J. Redick, Jamal Crawford, Chris Paul, Darren Collison are all guys that likes to shoot. Teams can map out their defense on Clippers easily especially if their shots are not going down and that's what the Warriors did to them last season winning 3/4 against the Clippers.
And with Doc Rivers superior? Please. If he never had a super team, he would never got all this hype. He had the super team in Boston, but managed to win only 1 championship. 1 championship and that's during the season where there was 2 under .500 teams making the playoffs, 1 .500 team making the playoffs, 2 teams barely over .500 making the playoffs, 1 team with a once in a lifetime player and a bunch of scrubs, and another team with a crybaby and a bunch of guys that jacks up shots. The only competition was the Detroit Pistons.
Coach Jackson improved the team from 23 wins to 47 wins, didn't have a super team, his all-defense center missed 50 games last season, one of his key "3 and D" bench player missed the entire season after a tear on his knee, started 2 rookies last season at SF and center, played all 4 rookies in a particular role, got the best out of a unhealthy, all-star snub and made him tougher, developed a young SG in only his 2nd year, helped a double-double machine back to his all-star form, made 2 bench players into 6th man of the year candidates, changed the entire culture of the Warriors franchise into being a tough, defensive team, got the team being the 4th best opponent field goal percentage at 43.9% after being 20th best at 45.7% during the 2011-2012 season, and overturned the team from being the 28th best rebounding team during the 2011-2012 season to the 3rd best rebounding team last season. Let me remind you that this was his only 2nd season as a head coach considering that he never been a coach on any staff before including never being an assistant coach on any team.

DangerCurtis wrote:I think you're missing the point of the poll. It's not asking whether or not the Warriors are a better team than the Clippers; it's asking who will win the Pacific division. It's no secret that last year GS posed a lot of match up problems for the Clips. They lit the Clips up with their stud shooters, which happened to be the Clips weak point (defending the 3pt line), however the Clips easily took the division title 9 games ahead of your Warriors.
Last year the Clippers won 56 games. While arguable, I think the additions of Doc Rivers, Redick, Dudley, and Collison is an upgrade (Although losing Bledsoe hurts). With that being said I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers improve to 59 or 60 wins. Even if they don't and just stay around the 55 win or 56 win mark, you have to ask yourself: do you think your Warriors can improve at least more than 10 games to take the Pacific Division?

You just sound like a huge Warriors apologist and nothing more. Take off your "homer glasses" and stop making excuses for your team.
