yea why not? they got a better coach while dumping one for a pick, got rid of three aging role players for a plethora of picks. Nothing to not like here.

I disagree with one thing only. Pierce should have remained a Celtic and retired there. Teams like the Celtics who have a franchise player who stayed loyal to the team should show loyalty back. it says something to the fans and it says something to the other star players who might think of signing with the team. the lakers just gave kobe a huge deal even though he is declining that sends a statement around the league to players who might think of signing with the team.

Danny did the best he could given the alleged "fallout" between Doc and Rondo...
Rondo is the only centerpiece the franchise has, and they made a great deal for the future... Even though Brooklyn was supposed to go far this year, those draft picks are looking damn good!
Kudos Danny, and screw the Knicks. Rondo is staying in green.

im not payin kobe out of my pocket. kobe made the lakers billions of money. he is the reason why lakers have a 4 billion dollar deal with TWC and he's the reason lakers are a world wide brand. 48 mil is a bargain. loyalty.
