Curry plays the 1, not the 2. Either or, Curry is a top 5 PG in the league, why wouldn't you?
Drummond is an upcoming big man with crazy potential and has shown a lot of that this past season.
I'd go for Drummond just because you don't always get a chance to harbor a true 5 man that is 7 ft, 240+

Curry is not a top 5 point guard in the league and i wouldnt consider him a point guard
Rondo Paul Westbrook Lillard Lowry Walker Irving Holiday Conely and soon to be Trey Burke are all better then Curry....Not many teams are successful building around point guards especially when that point guard is an undersized two....

So averaging 8.5 assists per game doesn't equate to being a point guard? Just because he likes to shoot, that doesn't make him a 2. If that's the case, how is Westbrook any different? It can be argued that even Lillard and Irving are score-first 1's, and there is nothing wrong with that. The position has evolved.
GS decided to ultimately build around Curry by trading Monta and extending him 4 more years, and they've made the playoffs the past two years. Sure they didn't go far, but I'd say that's pretty successful considering their last couple appearances came in 2007 and the early 90s.
I personally would place him somewhere among the top 10 point guards in the league, battling it out with Paul, Westbrook, Lillard, Wall, Rondo, Irving, Lawson, Parker and maybe Dragic. Do you view Dragic, Bledsoe, MCW as true 1's or as undersized 2's?
