Brooklyn should lose this question every single time, no matter who the other team is

Just look at Brooklyn's Draft Pick Situation.

No first round pick in 2016 or 2018.

Atlanta will swap with them this year and Boston will do so in 2017. Boston completely won that deal and many saw that coming when the deal was made.

This team is fading and they will have their own first round pick for FOUR years. I would not be shocked to see the NBA institute a "Billy King Rule" where you must have your OWN draft pick once every two years.

They have the worst future of any team in the NBA and I guarantee you it was a factor in Jason Kidd bailing out this past summer.

There are rules like that, and they had to work around them to get here. Its pretty insane

Nets will have Cap Space in 2016 for two max slots. Knicks won't. Nets are more attractive to FAs, right now, in my opinion.

Nets will make a big FA splash in 2016, whether that means overpaying players or getting a great player or two, it remains to be seen.

@ Prokys Nets, I cant see the nets being more popular for FA in 2016. Phil Jackson will still attract more than anything currently on the Nets. The Knicks hav e a Superstar player already on their roster the Nets have 1 semi allstar in Johnson and then injured has beens.

Is Phil gonna pay FAs out of his pocket, cuz Knicks won't have money to pay the guys you say Phil will attract. Last time I looked, players aren't attracted to no money.

The Knicks still have Melo for the next 4 years, so of course it's the Nets.

It looks like most people are mis-reading this as "Which Team would you rather have?" instead of "Which team's future would you rather have?"

The obvious answer is BKN.

Knicks will have over 30 million in capspace next year. A top 3 pick and Carmelo Anthony.

Nets will have 63 million committed to Bropez, Johnson, and DWill - 2 of which are coming off the bench right now. They also dont have a draft pick.

The answer should be clear.

Knicks will have capspace for a max player this offseason, and then some. Then when the cap expands the year after, they will have room for another max player. Plus they already have a max player in Melo.

Nets are paying Deron Williams 22 mill a year to come off the bench for the next 3 seasons. Nets have the worst GM in the league, Knicks have a president of bball ops that has won 11 rings. Knicks play in MSG which is a stadium that players grew up dreaming of playing in.

Are the Nets more attractive to free agents (that they cant pay) because you are a Nets fan? Explain another reason because I dont see it.
