The Raptors have lots of young talent. That very late first rounder is extremely unlikely to become nearly as good as Ibaka.

Ross sucks and the late 1st is useless. Another terrible trade by the Magic. Nearly as bas as when they traded Oladipo for Ibaka.

That Magic GM must be the worst in the league. He has no idea bout basketball at all. Plenty of couch GM's could do much better. He's probably just an academic who got in office.

GREAT MOVE. A- and the minus is only because "iblocka" may want such a raise come FA that it pushes them DEEP into luxury tax. such is the price to pay for a trip to the ECF and ( hopefully! possibly?) beyond. these guys can't win a title just yet but u can't say they can't get outta the east with KL, DD, a multitude of 3/4 types at either forward spot and Ibaka, valan17, powell( great lately) even caboclo. deeper than any team east wise not named CLE

Having seen Ibaka a lot as a Thunder fan, I think he really fills a hole for Toronto. However, I would stop short of saying he's a perfect fit. He's aged, he's a little slower, he's not the shooter he's advertised to be. However, he can definitely "turn it on", and if he does, it could be a very good thing for the Raps.
