#3 overall pick, has post moves. He'll get better I bet you. Dude is TWENTY ONE YEARS OLD, so he has plenty of time to develop in the right environment. I'm not even a fan, but Lol @ trying to write a 21 yr old big man off already. He could still be in college right now if he wanted to.

I mean... If he ever either develops a legit 3 point shot, and/or becomes a plus defender, then sure. I don't want to completely write the dude off because I think if he really committed himself and worked hard, he could do one of those things. But I'll believe it when I see it.

He averaged 17 points per game as a rookie and sure didn't get a fair shot on the 76ers. He is more the capable and just needs minutes to develop other parts of his game. I think 76ers are :crazy:

Sure, but the question is 'will he?' not 'is there a chance?' Of course he could get a lot better and turn into something nice but right now he's so so bad at defense and anything except iso post moves that I wouldn't put money on him becoming solid anytime soon. That's the question here, not if he's absolutely going to be awful forever.

Yes because there are so many bad teams that would put up with his defensive issues. I don't see him starting on any team looking to win because his defense is so bad. Personally I rather have a center who can play defense over scoring if I'm trying to win.

Yeah the entire question is based on potential -- "Will he ever become a starting caliber center". I think he has plenty of potential to get there, at minimum a starter. Al Jefferson type.
