Harden is shooting 52% from 2pt and 40% from 3pt. Great numbers from a perimeter player.
And don't buy into the hype of this streak. The Cavs last loss was to the Rockets. The only Western Conf. teams the Cavs have played during this streak are: Clips, Kings, Griz and Mavs. By far the best team they beat on this run was Detroit who are clearly an illusion and have now lost 4 straight. An absolutely soft schedule that remains soft until GS on Christmas.
(NBA conspiracy to make Christmas more interesting?... you decide!)

No no no no... 52% from 2pt and 40% from 3pt isn't great for a perimeter player. 64% from 2pt and 43% from 3pt is great for a perimeter player. Don't get it twisted.
Harden has nothing on King James.
And the Rockets are pretenders. Harden and CP3 are choke artists. Awarding Harden an MVP for what should be considered "Flopgate" by the public would be a crime against humanity. Seriously, the public should be outraged over Harden's cheating. He should be banned for at least the first half of next season because nothing else has changed his behavior even though he's been well warned. They changed the rules because of him and he just finds new ways to cheat. He's a serial offender and it would be a travesty if an MVP was ever awarded to him.

That's how I'd define MVP.

For his career, 18x All-Star Kobe Bryant averaged 48% from 2pt and 33% from 3pt. GOAT MJ averaged 51% and 33%. Harden is doing fine. The Rockets have the best record in the league and the only other former All-Star on their team missed the first month of the season. That's what MVP's are made of. Don't let your hate blind you.

Kobe and MJ weren't cheaters though.
I don't hate Harden. I just couldn't in good conscience endorse him for MVP. Nobody with any moral fiber should be able to.

In all fairness, kobe invented arm flailing, screaming after the slightest contact and pretty much every "cheat" move that harden has in his repertoire. btw this is coming for a kobe fan who doesn't particularly like harden and thinks lbj should be winning the mvp every year.
