It's a dumb rule. I agree with it only if the ball goes out of the back of the endzone. But going out of bounds on the endzone sidelines should be treated the same way a normal fumble out of bounds is treated. You get the ball from the spot it was fumbled OR you could penalize them by making the fumbling team go back to the 20. An automatic turnover for something like a bobble hitting the pylon or going out of bounds is a terribly unfair price to pay and for a league that implements rule after rule after rule just to boost scoring, this should be pushed through.
