Lionel Messi hasn\'t played since the Copa America final against Colombia on July 14th when he suffered a high ankle sprain, but Inter Miami does expect him to return before the end of the MLS season.
“There is no estimated time for his return,” Tata Martino said. “It’ll depend on how he feels and on the summation of training sessions.”
Martino guaranteed Messi would return before the end of Miami\'s season as they have nine MLS matches remaining.
Inter Miami has managed to stay atop the MLS Eastern Conference standings despite the absence of Messi.
