Tottenham Hotspur have exercised their option to extend the contract of Son Heung-Min for one additional season to 2026. Son has made 431 appearances for Tottenham and was named club captain by Ange Postecoglou shortly after he became head coach in August 2023.
Son had been hopeful of a new longer term contract with Spurs.
Son has scored 169 goals for Spurs, which is the fourth highest total in club history.
