Both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are considered key parts of Arsenal\'s future, but could be made expendable depending on their options on the transfer market. Arsenal has had longstanding interest in Nico Williams of Athletic Club.
Martinelli moved to Arsenal at 18 from Ituano in Brazil. He feels a special connection to the Premier League club, not something he could easily to replicate. “This is my home,” he said in April. “I love to be here. I love the club.”
Martinelli would clearly like to remain with Arsenal and they value him at over $67 million.
Trossard is at a later stage of his career and is seeking an improved contract. Trossard has previously fielded interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, but also has admirers among Europe’s biggest leagues.
