Bournemouth has agreed to a $34 million transfer with Liverpool for 19-year-old Scotland international Ben Doak. Doak joined Liverpool from Celtic as a 16-year-old in March 2022 for a fee of £600,000 and spent last season on loan at Championship club Middlesbrough.
Doak could have received more opportunities at Liverpool on the right wing had Mohamed Salah not signed an extension. Soak made 10 senior appearances for Liverpool during his time.
Liverpool has undergone significant changes this summer despite their Premier League title as Doak joins Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher and Jarell Quansah in leaving the club.
