Ronaldo Compared To Michael Jordan After Scoring Four Goals

After Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals against his club on Tuesday, Elche manager Fran Escriba compared him to Michael Jordan.

"Ronaldo is an extraordinary player with tremendous scoring ability," Escriba told reporters.

"This is like when Michael Jordan was playing and scoring 50 points every night.

"And on top of that he got two penalties. He doesn't need the help."

Ronaldo has recorded 25 hat-tricks for Real since his move from Manchester United in 2009.

Out of 1251 total career games Michael Jordan scored 50 or more points 39 times. Hardly an every night accomplishment. Plus, Jordan played incredible defense, obviously not possible at Ronaldo's position. Jordan sits atop the NBA mountain with little dispute. Even in his own generation, Ronaldo is difficult to classify as the "best".
