Sebastian Giovinco is set to join Major League Soccer side Toronto FC, the Canadian and Italian media reported on Sunday.
Gionvinco is a 27-year-old playmaker for Juventus nicknamed the "Atomic Ant."
Canadian media reported the four-year deal would be worth $7m (£4.6m) a year, making him the second highest-paid player in the MLS after Orlando City’s Brazilian midfielder Kaká.
Gionvinco has been out of favor under Massmilano Allegri at Juventus.
