Guardiola: Dortmund Should Be Quiet When Trailing By 35 Points

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri May 1, 2015 5:26 pm

Pep Guardiola responded angrily to comments from Sebastian Kehl after the Borussia Dortmund player said that Bayern Munich should practice penalties.

“If Bayern can’t take penalties,” said Kehl, “they have to practice them. I think that it’s crazy Bayern now try to put the blame on the referee. They’ve done it quite often when getting defeated by us.”

Kehl was responding to a remark from the Bayern Munich CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who complained about the standard of refereeing, saying: “we played against 12 men today”.

Guardiola was angered by what Kehl had to say and responded with what he called “some advice” for him. He said: “when you’re trailing by more than 35 points [in the Bundesliga], you should ...”. At that point, the former Barcelona manager put his finger to his lips, before adding. “Now we have time to practise since we’re already champions.”

Pep is pissed thinking he could have who 2 important trophies cause we know he aint winning vs Barcelona... unlike bayern, Dortmund battle constant injuries this season & FCB took their key striker in the offseason. His team should stick with Constantly diving when defensive players are playing it clean & getting bailed out by refs & TV companies for the millions

Actually, Bayern had more injuries than Dortmund this season.

Ribery, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Thiago, Robben, Alaba, Benatia, Martinez, Badstuber and now Lewandowski.

Only notable players relatively injury free were Neuer, Boateng, Müller, Bernat, Alonso and Götze.

I agree they have build a terrible culture of diving, complaining and cheating if they ain't winning under Guardiola/Sammer, though.
